Cannafest is Central Europe's big cannabis event, and its organizers bill it as the largest fair of its kind in the world. It returns to Prague on November 6–8 after hosting 247 exhibitors in 2025, with free talks and a host country under a brand-new law: since January 2026, adults in the Czech Republic can grow and carry small amounts. Here is everything practical, with prices in Czech koruna (CZK) and approximate US dollar and euro equivalents.

What is Cannafest?

Cannafest is the International Cannabis and Medicinal Herbs Fair in Prague. It is organized by Cannafest s.r.o., led by its founder, Lukáš Běhal, and held at the PVA Expo Praha fairgrounds in the Letňany district. The 2026 show is the 16th edition; Cannafest celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2025.

Its size explains its reputation. In 2019 it drew 294 exhibitors from 27 countries and 31,228 visitors across 20,800 m² (about 224,000 sq ft), according to the official website, which says visitors come from more than 80 countries. In 2025 it hosted 247 exhibitors in five halls covering more than 14,000 m² (about 150,000 sq ft), according to the venue.

How to get to PVA Expo Praha

By metro. The venue's own top recommendation: line C to Letňany station, then about a five-minute walk.

By bus. The closest stops are Výstaviště Letňany and Letňany. Day routes 58, 110, 136, 140, 158, 166, 195 and 201 stop there, plus night routes 911 and 916.

By car. There are three parking lots: P1 (200 spaces, entrance on Beranova street), P2 (250 spaces, by the main gate) and P3 Parkování Letňany (2,500 spaces). Cars pay CZK 200 per day (≈ $9). There is also a P+R park-and-ride lot next to Letňany metro station.

Coming from central Prague, the metro saves you parking fees and traffic at the venue entrance.

What's inside the fair

Cannafest mixes shopping with education:

  • Exhibitors selling grow equipment, fertilizers, seeds, smoking accessories and vaporizers, cannabis cosmetics, hemp textiles and food.
  • Media and organizations campaigning for legalization or medical use.
  • A professional conference running all three days in the small conference hall, free with your ticket.
  • A kids' corner for younger visitors.

In 2025 the fair added a Hemp Beer Festival, a Glass Blowing Show and the Cannafest Market, and brought back the Cannafest cinema. The 2026 side program had not been published when we wrote this guide, so check the official website before you go.
