Mary Jane started in 2016 as a festival for Berlin's cannabis scene and, ten years on, has become Germany's biggest cannabis fair. It moved to the Messe Berlin fairgrounds in 2024, and the organizers reported 75,000 visitors in 2026. For 2027 it moves to early June and keeps the same format: one trade day, then three days of expo and festival.

What is Mary Jane Berlin?

Mary Jane Berlin is a cannabis expo and festival built on three pillars: the expo in the exhibition halls, the conference in the Palais and the festival in the Sommergarten, the venue's outdoor area. It is organized by MJ World GmbH.

It began in 2016 at Berlin's Postbahnhof with a single hall, later moved to the Arena in Alt-Treptow and, in 2024, to Messe Berlin. That edition was the first since Germany's cannabis law took effect on April 1, 2024, and the event nearly doubled in size. In 2026 it held its tenth edition, June 11–14, and the organizers reported 75,000 visitors and 850 exhibitors. For 2027 they announce 800 exhibitors from around the world.

How the four days work

  • Thursday, June 3 · trade day. Industry visitors only, 11 a.m.–6 p.m., with the conference in the Palais. No festival.
  • Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5. Expo 11 a.m.–8 p.m.; festival until 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 6. Expo and festival 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

The 2027 halls are organized by theme: Health & Longevity (Hall 10), Wellness & Innovation (11), the Premium Halls (18 and 20), Medical & Grow (21) and Smoking & Seeds (22). There is also a Studio Stage, a Masterclass Stage and a Reset Room.

Side events around the city (parties, cups, comedy, tastings) are planned for May 31 to June 6; that program has not been published yet.
